On
March 24th the Developmental gals showed how fierce they were when they
competed in their first ever scrimmage in New Jersey. We could not be
more proud of them!

The
CAVA 13s, 14s and 15s had a great weekend, each
finishing 3rd after losing by just 2 points in the semis in a tight 3rd
game. The 13s (March Madness) grow stronger each tournament and are getting mentally
tougher as well. The 15s were playing up at 16s at the Irish Rumble and surprised many
teams along the
way. The 14s, also at the Rumble, demonstrated that they have found a deeper competitive
spirit that will serve them well in the remainder of the season. We are
very proud of all 3 teams!
Adding to their collection, the 12s take their fourth medal after finishing 1st
at the March Maddness 12's Tournament! So happy for you girls!

CAVA 12 Lime went undefeated and took home the gold Feb. 24, winning the LMH Classic. Congrats Team!

Weather Cancellations:
Practice or training cancellations will be posted here no later than: - 4 pm on a weekday - 10 pm the night before any weekend practice that starts 10 am or earlier - 3 hours prior to the start of any weekend practice that starts 11 am or later
No posting means the event is ON as planned.
Tournament cancellations will be posted within 10 minutes of when we get them from the TD for the event.
Here is a handy list of items you may find useful when you are packing for tournaments:
• Uniforms (ALL jerseys – EVERY tournament) • Volleyball • Kneepads • Volleyball shoes (don't wear these outside!) • CAVA t-shirt for warm-ups and during meals (so you don’t spill anything on your uniforms) • Extra socks (if you prefer to change them during a long day) • Water (marked with your name or jersey # with a sharpie) • Snacks and lunch (veggies, fruit, granola bars, PB&J, bagels, etc.) • Blanket or sleeping bag & pillow
• Chairs (depending on the facility, however you still may want to have a chair in the “camping” area)
